Reviews for Tipai

Ideally Called “Wildlife Luxuries”
Extremely well managed 3 nights stay. The team took care of logistics from airport to airport including 4 wild life safaris. A no stress, realxiing, holiday with ample opportunity for tiger sightings. Large, spacious, beautifully designed rooms with the biggest bathroom/dressing room I’ve ever seen. Truely great earthy, rustic, natural, tasteful interiors and design. Great service and hospitality.

Wow! This was an incredible experience. I decided to visit India with my two kids during December’23 and someone told me I must experience Tipai Wildlife Luxuries. I did some research and checked out their Instagram feed and decided to give it a try. I really liked their eco friendly approach to building a sustainable resort that harmonised with the local surroundings and also how they train the local people and offer life changing career opportunities. And of course maybe there was an opportunity to get up close with a wild tiger on a safari tour. We flew into Nagpur Airport and within 20 minutes of landing were in a taxi on route to Tipai. It was a pleasant journey and the kids loved seeing lots of monkeys playing along the side of the road. We reached Tipai and were greeted by friendly staff and offered welcome drinks. Straight away I could see this resort was something extremely special and totally unique. We took a buggy to our villa and were amazed at the luxury and highest possible quality and attention to detail. I’ve stayed in high end resorts all over the world and I would say this was the finest. And to build this in remote countryside surroundings is an incredible accomplishment. The resort offered various dining options and each was totally delightful giving the opportunity to try delicious traditional local food and dishes from different regions of India and also International options. The kids enjoyed preparing their own pizza and allowed me to place it in the wood fire oven. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they all seemed very friendly and happy in their place of work. There is a large swimming pool and close by is a large pond where the kids enjoyed searching for frogs amongst other pond life. The safari was a real adventure, meandering through picturesque woodland with lots of deer and more monkeys and there was a tiger sighting that day but unfortunately we missed it by just a few minutes. Despite being in a remote setting we felt totally safe and secure during the whole visit and will definitely be returning for another trip. I really do wholeheartedly recommend Tipai Wildlife Luxuries.

Wildlife, Luxury & Hospitality at it’s Finest!
Recently visited the beautiful upscale newly launched escape in the wild Tipai by Wildlife Luxuries. This naturesque wonder located 2 and a half hours away from Nagpur is situated in the small but rugged forest of Tipeshwar. The welcome itself gives you a glimpse of the hospitality to come during the stay. Rooms are large, indigenous and very very thoughtfully planned. Property has extreme care for sustainability and has nurtured the forrest surrounding the property so as to make one feel within the wild. Many properties serve good food during the stay but this property has taken the F&B to another level. With in room options of tea lab, lovely coffee brewing choices to the upscale fine dining cuisine of Palash! Tipai floors you with food choices. North Indian thali on the 1st day lunch, PAN Asian by the pool for dinner, Maharashtrian thali on the 2nd day lunch, Mediterranean with make your own brick oven pizza experience for dinner by their beautiful kitchen garden, South Indian thali for lunch on thr 3rd day and the grand royale of the stay being the very unique dining in the wild experience of “PALASH”. Gracious and courteous village ladies trained under the brilliant Amninder Sandhu serving local cuisines curated in the most magnificent manner! Absolutely rugged forest full of teak trees, beautiful birds, deers and importantly Tigers! The forest department is still up and coming but the in house naturalists at Tipai keep you excited during the safari! All in all, it’s a highly recommended escape for wildlife enthusiasts but also people who enjoy luxury and hospitality. The property has brought about a new dimension in wildlife escapes by combing luxury in an indigenous style but with modern characters. I’ll visit again for sure! Special thanks to Hetal, Rajesh ji, Monica, Prasad & Neha!.
